Thanks to the world EXPO 2015 the business capital of Italy is now undergoing through a process of development which is giving to Milan a renewed image. Here below a list of the five reasons why Milan is worth of a visit.

Milan is  the world’s capital of fashion. The most important brands and fashion houses have their headquarters here From Armani to Dolce & Gabbana, from Prada to Fendi and Versace. The last fashion week included more than 130 fashion shows, 70 presentations and lots of side events.

Everybody knows how relevant the food industry is in Italy and Milan has hosted  the World EXPO 2015 which dealt with food topics and trends. This brought the food culture here in Milan on an higher level. More than 700 restaurants, 90 clubs and 150 pubs and wine bars are spread throughout the city giving to its visitors a wide range of food choices from regional Italian cuisine to ethnic experiences.

The Italian Stock Exchange is  in Milan as well as the major companies of Italy and the Italian branches of the international ones. The 10% of the Italian GDP comes from the city of Milan and this is why the city is also known as the engine of Italy.
