LuBar: breakfast at the museum

LuBar is a new coffee house and luncheonette at the GAM, the Modern Art Gallery of Milan. It is named after the three Bonaccorsi brothers (and owners) Lucrezia, architect, Ludovico, chef and Lucilla, fashion designer. They started their career in the food and beverage industry with a Ape Car, a three-wheeled truck, serving Sicilian delicatessen. Parked in the main hall of the Milan’s central station the Ape became a popular, and mandatory, stop for those who wanted to enjoy the arancini, a fried riceball filled with ragù and peas, or the cannoli, the typical Sicilian desert.
