The Milan Fashion Week is over but not for everyone. The most of the Milanese and international fashion houses have chosen the capital of the Lombardy region as the home to their fashion shows, digital or hybrid. Except for one company that to Milan owes its international reputation. Donatella Versace has in fact chosen not to stage the Versace fashion show during the past week.
The Milan's men fashion week starts today at 3.00 pm with the Ermenegildo Zegna's fashion show which will be a digital event, as per the rest of the fashion houses which will follow suit. Except for a few brands that have decided to go phygital and present their collections through the so-called hybrid events. Stay tuned for more.
The king of Milan, as the Milanese use to call Giorgio Armani, has decided to show his latest collection on national television on saturday the 26th of September 2020. A choice that aims at a sort of democratization of the whole industry of fashion, as he has recently stated on the pages of the Corriere della Sera, the most popular newspaper in Italy.
