Madonna is moving. She decided to leave the United States for a better place where to create her music. According to her Instagram account she has now moved to…Portugal.
In an Instagram post dated 2nd of September Madonna has stated:
“The energy of Portugal is so inspiring. I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!!”
”This will be the next Chapter in My Book! It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point!!”
The picture had almost 70.000 likes and more than 2.500 comments, mostly Portuguese citizens happy to welcome Madonna in their home country.
There were also some detractors who were happy too, but for other reasons.
Madonna has lately demonstrated against Donald Trump and his administration, she has also been at the centre of some serious controversies.
During the electoral campaing for the 2016 presidential election Madonna has said on the stage of the March for Women:
“Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
This statement was actually lukewarm, compared to the super-hot promise that she made to Clinton’s voters. She will be remembered for being willing to give blo****s to whoever voted for Hillary.
Madonna’s last Instagram post was then considered as blessing by those Americans who have voted and currently support Trump’s administration. The hated enemy has been finally sent in exile.
Whether you like her or not it is for sure a relevant decision to make. Moving to another country and leaving your own but Madonna will be welcome in Portugal as the superstar she is, according to the comments on her profile, and this will make this decision much easier.
And you? If you ever decide to leave your home country, where will you go?
