Jimmy Nelson’s exhibition at Palazzo Reale, Milan

The Jimmy Nelson’s exhibition will be hosted in the stunning Palazzo Reale in Milan from the 20th of September 2023 to the 21st of January 2024. Born in 1967 Jimmy Nelson is a photographer who dedicated his life and work mostly to the depiction of tribal and indigenous people around the world. It is the first time that a solo exhibition of the work by this talented artist takes place in Italy.

Palazzo Reale in Milan

Settled right next to the Duomo Cathedral, the main landmark of the city of Milan, Palazzo Reale used to be the residence of the Austrian rulers of Milan back in the 18th Century. It later bacame the residence of the Italian royal family and nowadays it is mostly used for art exhibtions and institutional events. Its main hall called “Sala delle Cariatidi” designed by Giuseppe Piermarini who was also in charge of the construction of the La Scala Opera House.
