Milan Malpensa (MXP)

The main hub of northern Italy is located 51 kilometers from the city centre. Intercontinental, international and domestic flights depart from Terminal 1 (T1). Terminal 2 (T2) is for low cost carriers.

How do I to get to Milan Malpensa (MXP)?

By train

The Malpensa Express Train runs at 23 and 53 minutes past the hour starting from 6.53 am to 9.53 pm. The trains departs from Terminal (T1) only and arrives to Cadorna Station, right in the heart of the city. It takes 35 minutes and while onboard please enjoy the nice view of the Milanese countryside. Tickets (€ 12,00) are available at vending machines on the platforms or at the ticket booths in the Terminal 1 (T1). By bus

The Malpensa Shuttle departs every 20 minutes from the Central Station and the MICO Milan Convention Centre (Viale Teodorico). It takes 50 minutes at a cost of € 10.00 one way or € 16.00 for a return ticket. Tickets can be purchased on board or on the company’s webpage: www.malpensashuttle.it

A cab ride from Malpensa to anywhere in Milan is € 90,00. Remember to mention that you know about the flat fare and only catch white cars, White is the official color of the taxis here in Milan.

Milan Linate (LIN)

Milan Linate is the city airport of Milan and it is located just 7 km from the city. Mainly for domestic and European flights the Linate airport can be easily reached by bus and taxi.

How do I to get to Milan Linate (LIN)?

By Bus

Catch bus #73 in Piazza San Babila, a few steps from piazza Duomo. Tickets (€ 1.50) can be purchased at vending machines at the closest underground station (San Babila, red line). The ride takes 25 minutes and will give you the opportunity to admire some fascinating buildings such as the Palazzo di Giustizia (the city court).

From the city to Linate airport there is not any flat fare, just check the meter while on board. It should cost around € 20.00/€ 25.00.

Milan Orio al Serio (BGY)

The main hub for low cost flights like Ryanair. It is actually closer to the city of Bergamo (which you should visit by the way…).

How do I to get to Milan Orio al Serio (BGY)?

By Bus

By bus is the cheapets way to get there. Cab will be too expensive ( around € 120.00). The shuttle buses depart from the Central Station of Milan. Just look at the facade of the station and make a right to Piazza Luigi Savoia, you will see the bus, you cannot miss it!
